This is a biannual publication with printed issues usually released in July and January. The May 2010 issue was released August 2010. The December 2009 issue was released January 2010.

Description:
Twice a year, the OECD Economic Outlook analyzes the major trends and examines the economic policies required to foster high and sustainable growth in member countries including Canada. Developments in major non-OECD countries are also examined.

The May 2010 issue of the OECD Economic Outlook covers the outlook to end of 2011 for both OECD countries and selected non-OECD economies. Its comprehensive statistical annex is a useful reference tool for international economic comparisons. In addition to the themes featured regularly, this issue contains three special chapters. The first covers prospects for growth and imbalances beyond the short-term, the second covers return to work after the crisis, and the third examines counter cyclical economic policy. As always, the Outlook includes an overall assessment as well as individual country assessments for OECD Member countries, including Canada, and major non-OECD economies, plus an extensive statistical annex.

Together with a wide range of cross-country statistics, the OECD Economic Outlook provides a unique tool to keep abreast of world economic developments.
